DEBATE

Rachel – says
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prefrontal_cortex
I’m righteous you’re wrong.
Tim Go – says
so you think that taking those away from them would be a righteous punishment?
WTF i thought we are not gonna talk about this
LOL
Rachel – says
I think it’s a disease when someone goes out and thinks it’s alright to murder people, and just like other people with mental disabilities they should undergo treatment. I don’t believe it is any one’s right to decide whether someone deserves to die to make up for lost lives, unfortunately things happen, and taking it upon ourselves to take lives to make up for lives that were taken by someone with a SERIOUS MENTAL PROBLEM, is absurd.
Tim Go – says
so you would consider gangsters killing each other disease?
Rachel – says
No one was told to come into this life and play God, those who think they’re a higher being than the person next to them I believe have a mental disorder, and that should be corrected.
Yes, because they come from shitty homes, they are not disciplined, and should be sent to boot camps, and taught to co-exist with humanity.
Anyone that took being a part of a gang seriously was lonely, poor, or mislead because they have their own personal issues, probably insecurities and when they’re with their gang friends they feel fulfilled.
Tim Go – says
that’s not disease its part of human behavior which leads into aggression. see the problem with keeping those murderers alive instead human have this behavior called revenge. yea the guy is brainless but if you have someone close to you kill someone and you still see them walking what would you do? repeat the cycle.
Rachel – says
There’s way around avoiding the cycle, locations, identities, only someone so obsesses would go that route, and if they should they would know the repercussions of committing murder, whether it’s to honor someone they’ve lost or not, if society understood the minute they do something out of the norms such as killing there would be a penalty, and no one wants to be a zombie because undergoing this procedure suggests you must live the rest of your life for lack of better words, “lifeless” you have no personality no internal goals. No persuasion for actions, or capability of making decisions or moderating your own life, you become a baby for the rest of your time here. To instill that kind of fear in people I think would push people 10 steps back when deciding whether or not they want to go that route.
Tim Go – says
whats more fear than death
look if they got rid of their personalities you think they would care?
probably no
Rachel – says
NO, but that’s the whole thing, correcting the problem and publicly making society aware of the penalties they face when they take a life. All I’m saying, is it’s a problem, YOU ARE NOT SANE if you choose to take lives, the military creates killers, because it is NOT SANE or NORMAL to take lives, people are NOT born that way, society creates monsters, and if more people learn to accept that perhaps we will think twice before we abuse our children, rape our daughters, and mentally abuse ANY ONE for that matter.
Agree to disagree.

human

Oh no…

I’m suddenly depressed; someone posted something on fb that said, “Just remember what it was like when you first kissed”. Frankly I cannot remember the last time I kissed. I’ve always been really weird about whom I kiss, for some reason growing up kisses and holding hands always seemed so much more sentimental to me. I almost feel like kissing shouldn’t just happen because you’re drunk, or spun a bottle. When people unite as one, they would seal it with a kiss in most ceremonies, and with that kiss the world stops and watch in awe. I was once in a relationship where I was never kissed, or held hands. These are two important types of affection that I’m learning in my adult life that I absolutely need, but will never request. I suppose those kinds of things should come naturally.

So the depressing part is, I miss that feeling and I sort of wish I wasn’t sitting here missing that feeling.

“we should never crave affection or attention” when we do- we should know, we are in the wrong place.

Natal Chart Report – And the research begins.

Birth Chart

This birth chart report shows the positions of the planets for Rachel Noel Nelson .

The Sun represents vitality, a sense of individuality and outward-shining creative energy.

Sun in Aquarius

One of the standout characteristics of those born under the Sun Sign of Aquarius is their unwillingness to follow the beaten track. With advancement and progress on their minds, there can be an irreverence to old and outdated ways of thinking and doing things. Many Aquarians aim to free themselves of personal and social conditioning. Although open to change in theory, Aquarians can be surprisingly stubborn. Their idealism runs strong, but they can be very fixed in their opinions.

Often a bit aloof and even standoffish, Aquarians nonetheless are usually well-liked. They are curious and observant, and tolerant in a broad sense. Prejudice and bias is offensive to the typical Aquarius. Aquarians are generally very clever, witty, and intellectual. They value progress and frankness. It’s difficult to throw Aquarians for a loop–they’re generally on top of things. There is a bit of reformer in Aquarius. They’ll try to get you to see through superficiality, and encourage you to be open and forthright. “Be true to yourself” and “Don’t follow the crowd” are mottos we easily associate with this sign. Aquarians need space and value personal freedom. Any attempt to box them in will likely fail. They’ll happily return the favor; and they will treat people from all walks of life as equals. Equality and fairness are hallmarks of the sign. If you’re quirky and “different”, all the better.

Short description:

She is independent, autonomous, and has progressive ideas.

Weaknesses: an unusual, rebellious and revolutionary spirit.

Aquarius ascendant Gemini

Sun in X

The urge to work toward a goal, for success and accomplishment, and/or for power is part of your make-up. You are uncomfortable in any position in which you must “take orders” from someone else. Recognize your ambitions and your need for authority without going overboard. Seek out a career that allows you to manage, rather than be managed, if possible. It is crucial that you accept the part of you that is ambitious, but take pains not to over-identify with an image that is not really you! Successful career is guaranteed, but may sometimes come late.

325 Conjunction Sun – Mercury

Because your ego and your mind are aligned, you possess much mental energy. You are always in a position to think about what you want, and in many ways, this is an interruption of the will. You are highly intelligent with a great drive to communicate with other. You invest a lot of pride in your intellectual capacities. You may not always listen as well as you speak, however! You might be too busy thinking about what to say next. But you are very curious and although you enjoy expressing yourself, you usually don’t dominate conversations completely. As far as studying or learning goes, you are better off reading the material than listening to a teacher. These traits come from a strong need to take an active role in communications. It is very hard for you to passively listen and absorb information.

Your opinions are usually strong and you are an independent thinker. You tend to be proud of your opinions and thoughts, and might easily get a bruised ego if you are not “heard”, if your opinions are pushed aside or ignored, or if your opinions are criticized. You are expressive and possibly a very animated speaker. You are also very witty and others enjoy your playful and sometimes mischievous sense of humor.

280 Conjunction Sun – Venus

Social relationships are extremely important to you. You are generally charming with aneasy-going manner. It is generally quite important to you that you are personally popular, to come across in a pleasant way, and to be liked and appreciated. Sometimes, vanity is part of the package. Venus is a peace-making, harmony-loving planet, and those with Sun conjunct Venus do their best to seek peace and harmony. You are diplomatic and a veritable expert at smoothing over (and sometimes glossing over) problems. You are openhanded with others, tolerant and accepting. When expressed negatively, you can be superficial and two-faced, and you can be very much tied up with appearances–your own, and sometimes others’. You might be too agreeable, too pleasant (at the expense of honesty), and downright lazy at times. You have a fine eye for style and enjoy pleasing surroundings. You generally dress well and enjoy a certain amount of luxury. You are gracious, romantic, and sometimes romantically impulsive. You tend to rely on the power of attraction to bring people to you, rather than aggressively pursuing love interests. There is some vanity involved here–you are most attracted to people who express interest in you, or who respond well to your charms! You are not the type of person who overtly pursues people who appear to be indifferent to you. You are not competitive in the aggressive sense of the word, and you are not someone who loves a good chase. Instead, you work your charms and draw people to you. Your ability to attract others (Venus) is very much tied up with your ego (Sun). Because Venus rules all things feminine, both sexes with this aspect tend to be quite attractive.

11 Conjunction Sun – Jupiter

Endowed with generosity and friendliness, in some ways you appear to be lucky in life. You attract good things with a positive frame of mind and a charitable disposition. Rarely entirely “down and out”, you are usually well-received, helpful, and well-informed. You may enjoy travel and have a special affection for foreign places and people. You’re generally not very competitive, and for the most part not combative either. As a result, you are usually well-liked. You are usually good-hearted, possessing strong morals and much faith in life and in people. You prefer to find the good in situations and in people. You don’t have a lot of patience with those who break the rules, as you generally believe in order, equality, and the law. You usually make good on your promises, and the sincerity you exude can be trusted. Looking on the bright side is your forte–people can turn to you for a pleasing dose of faith and optimism. You are quick to chuckle and can’t resist any appeal to your sense of humor. Some people with this aspect are downright jolly. Others are less conspicuous, but their faith in life and willingness to find humor in life are nevertheless obvious.

141 Conjunction Sun – Midheaven

She knows what she wants on the professional level, is aware of her objectives and does everything to achieve them, she will carry out plans to the very end. She has a good job as well as a good reputation.

Short description:

Reserved and cautious. Attracted to politics. Selective, earthy, success comes by means of other people, who recognize her qualities.

Weaknesses: material worries, savings, restrictions. Does not get carried away by love.

Moon in VIII

She has a tendency to having deep and profound dreams. Romantic fantasies. Is interested in the occult.

While you have a strong need for emotional security, you are also a person who is drawn to pushing your own limits, and many lifestyle changes can be the result of this need to challenge, or reinvent, yourself emotionally. You are always fascinated with how people work, taboos, secrets, and all that is forbidden or hidden. Sexual unrest, or an apparent need to constantly change sexual partners or to challenge yourself sexually, may be a symptom of emotional insecurity. Connecting with another person intimately is an emotional need, but your changeable emotions might often get in the way of your goal. Jealousy and possessiveness might also be qualities you struggle with. At your best, however, you are a person who is intimate, deep, and intensely loyal to a partner.

300 Conjunction Moon – Neptune

Positive aspect: She is kind and sympathetic, with a strongly compassionate nature. When in love, she is usually very devoted. In fact, she is devoted by nature, not only in matters of the heart.

There is an unmistakably compassionate and understanding side to her nature. She has a natural affinity to music. While everyone enjoys music, people with Moon in harmonious aspect to Neptune respond to music as a vehicle to heal, relax, and to uplift the soul. Naturally perceptive, without even trying she tunes into the feelings of others, and the mood of her surroundings. There is a distinct emotional need to escape into the world of imagination, and to withdraw from others at times when she needs to re-center herself, largely because she tends to “take in” a lot of mixed energies from her surroundings. Strong and sudden “feelings” and hunches can overcome her. More often than not, her intuition is correct, although her imagination is also powerful and she can read too much into a situation as a result. Some laziness is associated with this position. This stems from a natural timidity and sensitivity that is apparent from youth. She may have been labeled “shy” in youth, and family members or friends may have jumped in to “save” her from situations that required boldness or aggressiveness. Thus, passivity was accepted and, as adults, she may be less experienced than most when it comes to reaching out or going after what she wants.

65 Sextile Moon – Pluto

Venus in Aquarius men and women are attracted to unusual or unconventional relationships. They don’t want to follow all the rules, although they may make quite a few of their own. They value lovers who are also good friends, and they avoid emotional displays or confrontations like the plague. Venus in Aquarius will delight in shocking you with their unusual ways and their forward-looking thinking.

Pleasing Venus in Aquarius involves letting them know just how interesting they are. Put up with their occasional need to act superior on an intellectual level — they are very proud of their unique ideas and visions. Dream along with them, and don’t fence them in. They need space and will happily return the favor, giving you lots of room to breathe and to be yourself.

Venus in X

Her best years are in the parental home and also the last years of life. That said, the rest are not unhappy, but contain certain hurdles. Love can help in professional life, she has a gift for seduction. She likes to entertain: she likes comfort and the attractions of home-life.

Others tend to respect you for your charming manner, and you have many admirers, although some of these are admirers from afar, as there is an aura about you that is charming yet strangely (and intriguingly) distant. You have a great need to be recognized or admired for your charm, beauty, or loving manner, but should be careful not to become too wrapped up in what others think of you, as you might come across as phony or superficial. Some people with this position are “married” to their work or to their image. You are good at making contacts and organizing social events.

211 Conjunction Venus – Jupiter

She is good-hearted, generous and has a good character. She likes well-being, comfort, a life without problems. She has good relations with her circle. She is easy to approach. All the same, she falls in love easily. She has a successful married and professional life.

177 Sextile Venus – Uranus

Independent in love. Her love life is rich, but possibly with passing love affairs. She tires quickly and is scared of losing her liberty. Traditional marriage may not be for her. She has that little something that attracts the opposite sex: she likes amorous adventures, she is romantic. She is the eternal lover and perhaps is unfaithful if she has a serious relationship. She likes art, anything new.

The ability to get along with–and accept–people from all walks of life as friends is strong with this position. She can readily see through insincerity in others. In relationships, tolerance is the most important “ingredient” to her. Her sexual preferences are somewhat unconventional, and she won’t be happy with a partner who tries to limit her sexual expression. She is usually quite capable of maintaining relationships that require a great deal of freedom and tolerance, such as long-distance romances or set-ups in which partners are unable to see each other consistently. Her style in love is somewhat free and breezy, and noncommittal. She quite naturally accepts the idea that her partner might need some personal space and freedom.

25 Conjunction Venus – Midheaven

She has good taste, has an affectionate nature, her love is warm and deep, based on intellectual understanding and common tastes. Her friends are useful in furthering her career.

Mars represents the desire for action and physical energy.

Mars in Sagittarius

When Mars in Sagittarius people get angry, they feel like running. They have to do something–not about it, but something else altogether. They don’t have a lot of patience to wait things out. This is where the restless and adventurous nature of Sagittarius comes in. People with this position of Mars should seriously consider physical activity as the best means of anger management, if they don’t already (naturally) do so. People with Mars in Sagittarius generally have a number of projects going at once. They are not known for their follow-through, however! They start up new projects, however, with admirable gusto. Their vision and optimism can get in the way of completing what they start–they want to do so much, and they trash things too easily when a new idea takes hold.

Most of the time, Mars in Sagittarius is playful and fun-loving. They love friendly debates, although they can go to extremes. Some take it personally when you don’t agree with them–why wouldn’t you agree, after all? Well, for one, you might (especially if you have planets in Virgo or Gemini) find plenty of holes in their arguments. The thing is, more often than not, they haven’t thought things through, yet they’re very passionate about what they believe in. Mars in Sagittarius loves to “wing it”. Mars in Sagittarius people see themselves as warm-blooded folk. They are, but they sometimes run roughshod over others’ feelings during their more passionate debates. They can be blunt with people, although if they have a more tactful Mercury placement, this quality will be subdued. Their direct, blunt approach is most obvious in bed. They’re passionate lovers, and are turned on by open-mindedness and good humor. But, they are not usually patient when sex gets too intricate or serious.

Mars in Sagittarius can be a little hard to understand. Sometimes they seem to be the most easy-going of people–they love a good joke and a good time. Other times they are on fire–intense and impassioned about something or other. They abhor anything that fences them in. They need to feel like they have space. They’re the ones who will run away when things get too serious or dull. They’ll likely be back soon–it’s just that they need to feel free for a while or they go batty. When these people argue, they can too easily pick up a moralistic stance that drives everyone around them crazy. More likely than not, however, they jump off their high horse sooner than later, and get back to having fun. Mars in Sagittarius is used to getting their way and persuading others to believe what they believe in. Every now and again, they face the few that don’t quite buy their grand theories, or, worse yet, poke holes in their plans. This is when these normally fun-loving people get frustrated. In fact, they take it personally when others don’t agree with their philosophies.

House I is the area of self identity. The ascendant is a symbol of how one acts in life. It is the image of the personality as seen by others, and the attitude that one has towards life.

Aquarius ascendant Gemini

Ascendant in Gemini

Those born with Gemini rising see the world as a place to learn. They are curious about the people around them. Sounds similar to Sagittarius rising? Well it is, but there are some important differences. While Sagittarius seeks to expand their mental and physical horizons in a broad sense, Gemini is mostly interested in moving about in their social circles. These are people who love to ask questions, to move around freely, and to mingle. Definitely restless and often quick in physical expression, natives of the Gemini Ascendant exude an air of impatience even if they don’t mean it. In fact, there is a cleverness to Gemini Ascendants that can intimidate some, especially sensitive folk. Their facility with words can be a wonderful asset, although sometimes Gemini rising individuals identify too much with their mental agility and forget, in their personal interactions and communications, to nurture the people around them. A certain lack of warmth in presentation can be the result, and although this style is generally a facade, it is not immediately apparent to most. People with, for example, predominant Water signs may feel a little ill at ease with Gemini rising people (that is, before they get to know them more personally), while strong Air types more fully appreciate the fun and cleverness of these individuals.

I have found two styles of presentation most common with Gemini rising people. One style is bubbly, changeable, talkative, and a little quirky. These natives are interesting and fun. They constantly explain things, whether it’s their own behavior and opinion or those of the world around them. Another distinct “style” is a rather cool and intellectual demeanor. These natives are often quite witty and clever, but they present themselves in a less cheerful and changeable way than the first group. Their observations are sharp and the overall manner is a tad brusque. No matter the style, Gemini rising natives are given to analysis and making sense of their world. Their powers of observation are well-developed, they are mentally active (more often than not, their minds are racing!), and they almost always have something bright or witty to say. It is easy for individuals with this position to get sidetracked, as their curiosity is large, their minds are quick, and their attention spans rather short! As children, natives born with a Gemini Ascendant are often labeled as the intellectual, inquisitive, and perhaps odd child. Many feel their upbringing lacked some warmth. In one-to-one relationships, Gemini rising people often seek a certain amount of personal freedom and space. They enjoy intellectual debates and exchanging ideas. Although they often demand a fair amount of freedom, they are often just as willing to give their partners room to breathe.
